Hello, Pioneers!

My name is Micah Gussler, and I am the Library Media Specialist for Poage Elementary School. I am so excited to be in the Library at Poage, and look forward to inspiring a love of reading in all of our students!

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education form the University of Kentucky, a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Morehead State University, and a Rank 1 in Library Science from Eastern Kentucky University. I have experience teaching in 4th - 6th grade classrooms, and have also worked as an Arts & Humanities teacher.

I feel incredibly blessed to work at Poage, and hope to use my love of children's books and passion for teaching to inspire your children to love reading!
