Hi! My name is Mary Evans and I'm blessed to be a third grade teacher at Oakview Elementary School. I'm beginning my 31st year of teaching, all of them at the greatest school in Ashland...Oakview! :)

I was born and raised in Ashland. I graduated from Paul G. Blazer High School in 1984 and Eastern Kentucky University in 1989 with a  Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master's Degree from Morehead State University.

I'm married to my wondeful husband, Lee. He is a Social Studies teacher and football coach at Russell High School. We have two wonderful children. Katie and Lance.

I love to read, shop, and run with my husband. I LOVE to visit Myrtle Beach and Disney World.
