School Counseling Services During School Closure
During the current school closure, the school counseling team will be working remotely. Team members will be monitoring email regularly to help ensure that student needs are met. Since school counselors often make referrals to other community agencies during a time of personal or family crisis, it is important that parents and students understand the limitations for our services at this time are limited to academic or career related issues. Any student or family member that is experiencing a crisis or has an immediate mental health need should call 911 or our community mental health provider Pathways, Inc. If you are having an emergency or crisis, please CALL 606-324-1141 or 800-562-8909.
School Counseling Program and NTI
During our current closure and delivery of NTI instruction it is recommended that each student log on to their Naviance student account and complete any part of their current program assigned to them by the school counseling team.
During the current school closure requesting transcripts will continue through Parchment. Please follow the link at the bottom of this page to access Parchment. Currently only records from 2009 - to the present are available to be submitted remotely by the school counseling team. Any record request previous to 2009 will be processed when the school reopens.
