Participants learn military topics and culture, wear uniforms on occasions, participate in drills, also engage in a variety of postions, an sometimes participate in competitive rifle teams. The positons include Prone, Kneeling,Standing. Prone is when a cadet is lying on the floor or a mat with one leg close to a 90 degree angle with elbows on the mat and rifle in hands. Kneeling is when a cadet is using a kneeling pad between the floor and ones ankle for more support with elbows tucked in and rifle in hands. Standing is when a cadet is standing side ways facing down range where the target is located with elbows tucked in and rifle in hands.
