Our school dental program is now serving students in Russell, Greenup, and Ashland schools! 🏫🦷
✨ Why we love this program:
• Preventive dental care is FREE
• We do not bill dental insurance
• Care is provided by a PHRDH at school
• No need to leave school or make a separate appointment
• Parents don’t have to take time off work to get their child to an appointment!
All you have to do is complete the dental consent form and return it to your child’s school. You can also drop the completed form off at the Greenup County Health Department.

A student shall have up to five (5) school days upon returning to school to present a valid absence excuse.
A maximum of five (5) parent notes for absences or tardies per school year may be excused by a note from the student's parent/guardian.
A maximum of ten (10) physician's statements for absences or tardies may be excused per school year. More than 10 will require the District Medical Excuse Form to be completed in order to be excused.

Household Income Form
The Ashland Independent School District has partnered with Mosaic and My School Apps/My School Bucks in order to complete the annual Household Income Form. All families are required to complete this form yearly (All information provided is kept private and confidential). The household income form data allows the District to secure federal funding (Title funding) based on the percentage of those who qualify for meal benefits based on income guidelines which significantly benefits our students and schools.
**Just a reminder that the Ashland Independent School District is a CEP District meaning ALL STUDENTS are provided a free breakfast and free lunch daily. The HIF form data does not change this fact.**

In order to complete the mandatory online registration for grades K-12, you must have a parent portal. Students new to the district for next school year, including incoming kindergarten students, do not need a parent portal until after enrollment.
